Strengthening the influence of economic instruments on price formation is a necessary condition for forming a balanced economy.

The article examines current issues of ensuring the influence of economic instruments on pricing to form a balanced economy and increase the efficiency of budget expenditures. Particular attention is paid to analyzing foreign and domestic experience in state regulation of price formation. The aim of the study is to substantiate proposals on the need to increase the efficiency of price regulation in the context of market transformations and to develop measures to ensure conditions for equivalent intersectoral exchange between the core sectors of the national economy. Based on the research results, recommendations have been developed to improve the taxation of legal entities.
