The institutional significance of the digital money system in combating corruption and the shadow economy
This article examines the institutional significance of implementing a digital currency system in combating corruption and the shadow economy. The study highlights the potential of digital payments to enhance financial transparency, reduce cash circulation, and limit corruption risks associated with human factors. Based on international experience, the impact of digital currencies on tax administration and state financial control is analyzed, and scientific conclusions as well as practical recommendations for the effective implementation of digital currency in Uzbekistan are proposed.
